Our Approach

Happy Days School was established in 1977 by Lynda Francis. There have been many children who have been loved and cared for at Happy Days over the years. We now have children attending who are the third generation in their family to come to Happy Days. Happy Days mission is to support families in preparing their children to be effective and productive citizens through professionally based academics, training and instruction. We know that everything a child learns before the age of five will stay with them the rest of their lives. Therefore, all of our classes emphasize the importance of social, emotional, spiritual and academic growth in each child.

Meals

Happy Days is on the Federal Food service program. We make sure every child gets a fresh breakfast, hot lunch, and a snack each day.

Infants receive formula and baby food, as approved and requested by the parent. We also support breastfeeding mothers with our on site freezers and fridges.

Curriculum

We are Texas Rising Star certified, Texas School Ready, and use the ABEKA curriculum. We offer discounts for children whose parents are City of Garland & GISD employees.

Specifically, our Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 classes are in the Texas School Ready Program. The students are ready to enter kindergarten at or above the state standards.

Payment

We accept child care payments from the Dallas County Community Colleges child care program and offer discounts for children whose parents are City of Garland & GISD employees.
